Valerie DoS Santos
WCSA PRESIDENT (She/Her)
My name is Valerie Dos Santos, I am entering my final year of studies and pursuing a double major in Criminology and Ethics, Society & Law, and a minor in Political Science. I am very excited to be working with the Orientation Coordinators and OEC to plan this year’s Orientation Week! I have been involved with Orientation Week as a leader, head leader and member of WCSA. I have so many great memories from Orientation Week that it is difficult to choose my favourite one. From the Block Party to UTSU’s Parade to the Boat Cruise, you will have a chance to meet other students and get to know the amazing community at Woodsworth College. I met some of my closest friends during Orientation Week and it was during this time that I learned about the number of ways I could get involved. If you would like to learn more about WCSA and the programs and services we offer, feel free to reach out to our WCSA directors or visit the WCSA office (Room 103). I am looking forward to meeting you all in September!
WCSA VP OF FINANCE (She/Her)
My name is Shreyashi Saha. I am in the third year of my degree, pursuing a double major in Neuroscience and Cell & Molecular Biology, and a minor in Immunology. Orientation Week has been a highlight of my time at University of Toronto. I cannot express how excited I am to be involved in planning your first week as an university student with the rest of our team! Being an international student, O-week was my first college experience away from home. I had an amazing time meeting so many diverse individuals, most of whom I am still in touch with. Not only was I able to weave my way into a home away from home, but I was also able to learn and try new experiences and prepare and familiarize myself with the wide range of resources and assistance available to succeed at U of T. Apart from enjoying planning and organizing, I am absolute coffee fanatic. Whenever I get time, I love to read classics and mystery thrillers though often binging on Netflix takes priority. I hope y’all have a wonderful orientation week and transition into university life. Feel free to stop by the WCSA office (Room 103), if you have any questions about WCSA or get confused about anything. I look forward to meeting y’all and presenting you a fun-filled time in September!
WCSA VP OF INTERNAL AFFAIRS (She/Her)
My name is Sara Zamani and I’m in my fourth year completing a double major in Political Science and Criminology and a minor in Sociology. I am extremely excited to be working with the Orientation Coordinators, the Executive Committee, and the rest of the Management Committee to bring you one of the best Woodsworth orientations yet! Throughout my years at Woodsworth College, I have been involved with Orientation as a first year, a leader and now as part of the management committee and as part of WCSA! Both have given me some of the best memories of my university experience and have introduced me to some of my best friends! This year’s Orientation is sure to be a worthwhile experience allowing you to meet new friends from the first day at registration, to repping your school and college on the streets of Toronto at the annual UTSU parade, and to making unbelievable memories as we sail past the Toronto skyline at the annual Woodsworth boat cruise! I can’t wait to meet all of you and lastly, WELCOME TO THE WOLFPACK!

Every year Orientation has introduced me to some wonderful people that have grown to be some of my closest friends and I can’t wait to make some new memories and reminisce some old ones, such as the Tri-Campus parade with you all! Taking over the streets of Toronto and cheering your college as loud as possible - how can that not be fun!? That being said, I can’t wait to meet you all and I hope you have the best possible Orientation Week!
